Eat. Blog. Run.

October 23, 2012

Today I had the huge privilege of being featured on Eat. Blog. Run. – an online hub for people who love eating, blogging and running (sign me up!!!). The ladies behind Eat. Blog. Run. are pretty fabulous, and I love that they’re dedicated to motivating those looking for inspiration, sharing tips and information about running, introducing us to awesome running bloggers, and building an online network of support for a number of running events.

They asked me 6 questions about eating, running and blogging:

  1. Tell us about your blog and why it’s totally awesome.
  2. You’re running your fifth marathon this weekend, and you just did a half Ironman last month that included a 13.1 mile run. Madness! What inspires you to pursue these races and how do you keep the momentum going once you finish one of these incredible accomplishments?
  3. You’re a seasoned long distance runner – what are your top recommendations for fueling up en route?
  4. Tell us about your favorite gear.
  5. Are you inspired by any running bloggers? If so, who?
  6. What’s your top advice for new (and perhaps intimidated) runners?

You can check out my answers and see the full interview here. A BIG thanks to Eat. Blog. Run. for profiling me as one of their rock stars. I’m truly honored! Happy eating, blogging and running everyone!

I’d love to hear your answers to the last question Eat. Blog. Run. asked: What’s your top advice for new (and perhaps intimidated) runners?

Your answer for nutritition/hydration is truly awesome. I think I’m doing ok. I never bonk. This is what is lacking a lot with blogs – this kind of detail for newbies like myself who WANT details. TONS of them.

Because of you I started the honey stinger waffles and O M G.

I’ll have to check out the bogs you recommend – I follow mile posts already. Awesome job!
