Run Happy Makeover Giveaway

June 5, 2013

Happy National Running Day! Today is our chance to celebrate runners everywhere. To shout from the rooftops about our passion for running. To reaffirm our commitments and goals. And to thank the people who have made an impact on us – those who have believed in us, supported us, pushed us and run with us.

I’m celebrating National Running Day in a HUGE way by giving one lucky reader the chance to win a complete running makeover from Brooks Running. What better way to honor National Running Day than with a new running top, bottom and shoes of your choice to say THANK YOU for being your awesome running selves and for inspiring me to be a better runner every day.

Here’s how it works. I want to hear about your worst running outfit and why you want a Run Happy makeover. Do you have a stretched out sports bra you’ve been wearing for the past 7 years and can’t seem to part with? Have you been known to show up at races with completely mismatched gear? Have you lost weight and no longer fit into a lot of your running clothes? Or maybe your favorite running top smells icky – despite how many times you wash it – because you’ve logged so many miles and sweat profusely in it. I know you have some kind of running outfit you’re not proud of (we all do), and I want to hear about it.

One of my worst running outfits of all time was from a turkey trot I ran back in the fifth grade that made the front page of my hometown newspaper. I was at the front of the starting line ready to run the 1-mile run (I think I ran the mile in 5:50 or something like that. I was way faster back when I was 10 years old. WTF!?!) Unfortunately, my young running self was caught on film for the world (or at least my city) to see in a black cotton tank top (yes, cotton) and a pair of black and fluorescent pink checkered spandex shorts. Now, where my mom purchased these beauties and why she ever allowed me to leave the house in them remains a mystery. And if that wasn’t enough, I was wearing scrunchy socks – you know the ones from the 80s and early 90s that practically look like leggings – with shoes that my friends at Brooks would probably have gasped at.

Lucky for you, I haven’t yet been able to dig a copy of the newspaper article out of my parents’ attic. I promise I’ll try to find it one of these days and share it with you.

Now it’s your turn. Share your worst running outfit and win a new running top, bottom and shoes of your choice from Brooks Running. Entering is easy and there are 8 chances to win.

Use the widget below to enter and track all your entries. Simply log in with your Facebook account or email. Ingrid Nelson

When I first starting running in 2007, it was in cotton t-shirt and some really ugly cotton shorts and cotton socks and walking shoes that weighed a ton. Wondering why everything just felt so uncomfortable running. Who knew there is so much different equipment for running to make things easier.

Cindy Davis

Cotton everything! Hot and heavy! Worst part was when I realized I had my shorts on backwards during one of my runs! Never got dressed in the dark after that experience!

Sharon

When I first started running I just went all “Forrest Gump” and started running even though I didn’t have any gear except for my running shoes. My basic outfit was a pair of capris yoga pants, my husband’s over-sized orange t-shirt and I would double bra because I didn’t have a sports bra. On a good note, I was easy to spot.

Britton

I use to run in cotton t-shirts and soffe (or as some call them, cheerleading) shorts! It was awful! I didn’t know running gear existed back in high school. Thank goodness I discovered it! I would love to win a new outfit! I am in need of some motivation to get through these hot summer months!!

rUnladylike

Wow! I haven’t thought of soffe shorts in forever but that is all I used to wear in college to workout. I guess I can add that to my worst workout clothes list too. LOL! Can’t believe we all did that. Good luck!

Allison

I have just hit the 60 lbs lost mark and non of my workout clothes fit anymore!

I have nike dri-fit capris that are supposed to be tight fitting but are now constantly falling down.

I need new bottoms so I don’t have to run pulling up my pants every block or so.

rUnladylike

Congrats on your weight loss. That is so awesome and inspiring!!! Thanks for entering the contest, and good luck!

becca

worst running outfit: capris with cotton long sleeve shirt and cotton purdue shirt over top. got sweaty, made me look WAY fat and YES i DO have a picture!!! so uncomfortable.

Ali

When I first started running I thought when it was cold I should just layer everything on..a mile into my run I was so hot!

Valerie

ALL of mine are pretty bad! I wear wind breaker track pants that are too big bc the company stopped making that style. When the wind blows all the extra material swishes like a flag! I own one sports bra ( so yes I do wash every day!). I usually wear a race tee. And if its cold out I wear a red fleece non running apparel jacket – that goes well with my bright yellow shoes! I look a red hot mess! Lol. But it’s ALWAYS happy running!

Katie

I’d have to say it was my track uniform from high school. It was a soft polyester blend singlet (a white one, no less) that felt like it was from 1970’s. (It may have been. I started track in 1990 – yes, I am old.) It had a slick, shiny maroon inset across the chest emblazoned with our school name. Every.Single.One. of those singlets had sweat stains on the fabric below the armpits. Oh the humanity! Then it was finished off with maroon split shorts. I think I have a yearbook photo of it. I have to dig that up.

Julia

I have a lovely pair of cotton shorts I picked up at Walmart and a t shirt. I admit I am not running at the moment, but would love to get back into couch to 5K. A new look, and shoes eespecially would help.

Jess

My worst running outfit(s) had to be the one I wore while pregnant, a bright pink weird fitting tank top was not flattering to a big ole baby belly and some capris that fit in the waist but were saggy everywhere else causing serious chafing issues in not nice places. Now I live in my Brooks running PR Mesh Skorts, but have been eyeing the Epiphany Boy Shorts ever since trying them on at a local running store. I would love to win a new outfit from Brooks to add to my collection of PR Mesh Skorts and Pure Project Pure Flows. Run Happy!

Nicki

I used to run in cotton. I even managed to find a cotton tank but still. I had more chafing issues then than any rainy run now. Today’s issue is sports bra. I want someone to have a specialist to fit sports bras – like regular ones. I try and try them on. I read the sizing (strange and weird and different for each brand). I purchase and I am constantly disappointed.

Brandy Corrales

The worst outfit I’ve worn and will never be caught dead in is my yellow sports bra, black running tank, brown and neon orange short, green socks and my gray and volt colored shoes. My husband threatened to post the pic of me, I wanted to die. Talk about an off day.

Momof3Boyz

A lot of my running gear is too big (YAY)! I started running two months after my third son was born so had an extra 30# of baby weight on. I was so excited about running I bought a TON of cool stuff…. All in Large…. If I was fat I was at least going to look good ;). Now I’m stuck with most of it since I spent so much money on it. I did invest in two small pairs that I alternate now ;). Help @runladylike! 🙂

Ashley @ OurPersonalRecords

My worst running outfit would probably be from when I would just wear my Nike Shox (hello shin splints!), a cotton tee that weighed more than me by the time I was done, and a pair of cotton shorts that were not only too tight, but much too short! I also used to wear this awful sports bra that was so old that I think it was actually the first bra I ever owned.

flsunman

Other than my TRANCE…I look circa 1970 when I run. If I was given a 30 year update, I’d still be 13 years out of date! Just a year ago I dropped using cotton T-shirts. HELP Moi!

Runner Girl Eats

I double up worn out sports bras regularly (awful!) and my favorite running top has a perma-funk smell to it that no amount of Tide Sportseems to get out! I am desperate for some new gear!

Kim @ Hungry Healthy Girl

I have this pair of black capri pants that constantly fall down when I run. Why I wear them, I don’t know. 😉 I haven’t had new workout clothes in well over year and I’m in serious need!!

Rachel @ Undercover Diva: A Sitcom

I have a stretched out sports bra that I love and cannot part with because it was the first sports bra I bought when I was getting into running. It’s sentimental to me 🙁 All of my running shorts are way too big for me because I’ve lost 30 pounds in the 2-2.5 years I’ve been running, so often times, passing cars get a glimpse of my undies and tan lines when they drive by…

Karen Orozco

Haha! I am so in need! My worst running outfit is a sports bra that is not only stretched out, but has a hole in it from all the constant bleaching it has endured. It’s pinkish, but I believe it started out black long ago? ALL of my running gear is too loose. My shorts ride up and my shirts are baggy because I have lost weight on my journey! Fantastic giveaway for one lucky person! I’m a Brooks girl, so I may have some bad running outfits, but my shoes…I never pinch pennies on those! 😉

Shannon

Grey sweat pants and a long sleeve cotton tshirt. It was another gray raining morning and my mood matched the weather. So my outfit did too lol. Frumpy, ugly, and posted on my blog for all the world to see. Gross!

Megan

My worst outfit — well, I unfortunately am the example of a few stretched out sports bras. They’re just such a PIA to go buy! One day, I just need to go blow like $100 in bras at TJ Maxx and call it a day. But I really need a few tanks, especially as we head into Georgia summer. I have only a handful of running tanks and I’m dying even in short sleeves!

krissy m. murphy

Worst…oh man. When i first started running, I wore cotton tank tops that’d just get all sweaty and gross, and soffee shorts that just bunched weirdly…with sneakers. not running shoes!

Cate

My worst running outfit was from when I first started running it was a pair of cotton Bermuda shorts and a cotton shirt which is not ideal for running in hot and humid FL! Thankfully I have learned that running in cotton is in fact rotten.

Rebecca

I used to run in weird cotton tank tops that looked cute but didn’t sweat wick and would always ride up, bunch, chafe, and stretch out. Ugh!

abbi

I’m wearing the same pair of running shorts from when I first started a generic tank top from Marshall’s…all my race photos tend to look the same and the tank is really getting beyond it’s limit! 🙂

Jerome

OK, not sure this applies to boys, but I’ve got a few outfit disasters over the years that would embarrass most into retirement. A good one happened a couple of years back when I ran a Tough Mudder with many friends. We all lined up at the front for our wave start and sprinted out of the gate. Well, the liner in my shorts (being my all-time favorite ones and past it’s prime) gave way – pretty much disintegrated – which resulted in a wardrobe malfunction that makes Janet Jackson look like nothing. Needless to say that nobody from that waves got pictures from the start of the run on account of public nudity!!! So needless to say, those shorts need to be retired with new ones and I’ve been looking at the Drift or Connect for my next shoes…

rUnladylike

LOL Jerome! Thanks for sharing your story. Too bad you don’t have the picture to post (hee hee). The contest applies to everyone, including guys! Good luck, and thanks for entering!

Ashley @ Running Bun

Hahahaa great giveaway! My worst running outfit (and worst decision): Brand new top for my first marathon (I wanted it b/c it was yellow). Chafed SOOO badly at mile 13 I had to take my shirt off and could barely move my arms. Nightmare.

rUnladylike

Oh man!!! Ouch! You put a new meaning to “don’t try anything new on race day!” Good luck!

Haha – I love this. Well, I don’t know if I have a worst outfit in whole, but when I started running, I just got a clearance pair of shoes at DSW. I quickly realized I needed to change that tactic. I also foolishly wore a long sleeve top on the day of my first half marathon. It was chilly (January in Arizona), but by the end, I was dying. Oh, and since I forgot sunscreen, I was also burned on my forehead and nose!

Kaitlyn

In high school I used to wear the most terribly inadequate, flimsy sports bras and all cotton tank tops and shorts. I can’t believe I ever made it more than a mile in those clothes — uncomfortable from head to toe!

PS (hit “send” before I meant to – say no to pre-coffee commenting, kids) – I’d love a new outfit because I’ve recently started streaking and need some new togs to look great along the canal while I’m dripping sweat! At least part of me should look good! I love Brooks – they are the only trail shoe I’ll wear!

Megan

I’ve had some pretty interesting wardrobe choices in the past, but I think my late 80s/early 90s styles were the most laughable! However when it comes to the worst running outfit, it’s the ones that look good on the website, then look horrible when you get them on. Not good.

Kristen L

I only have one or two pairs of shorts that I really wear because so many of my other shorts chafe! It’s one of those, you might look OK, but you will pay the price later! When I first started running I also wore $20 shoes from the clearance rack at a department store. You gotta starts somewhere, but they were the ugliest, all white shoes!

Leah F.

My worst running outfit was in the 5th grade at filed day. My mom sent me to school in jorts and a floral tank top and keds. I survived the day. But just seeing jorts now brings back painful (chaff) memories.

My husband and I are training to run our very first marathon together. We have been running about a year now. Last year we trained for our first half marathon. New running gear is always great! And we love Brooks!

rUnladylike

Sounds like we would have been a dynamic duo in the 5th grade together with our terrible childhood running outfits. Good luck with training for your first marathon. I hope you enjoy the experience!

Kimberly @ Healthy Strides

I’m trying to think of my worst outfit of present but I am oh so stylish now that it would be unthinkable … ha. I did wear this sports bra yesterday that might be a smidge tight (no idea how that’s even possible), and I think it made it hard to breathe. When I first started running, though, I had no clue about all the tech gear and thought the UA pieces my husband had were pretentious. Come winter, when I was running in cotton leggings from Old Navy, I changed my tune. I was literally freezing my butt off every run. Even worse, they were probably more see-through than the lululemon yoga pants!

Vanessa

There is nothing worse then when you lace up your shoes and take off out your front door only to get halfway down the block and realize that your running shirt is riding up while your running pants are riding down… Finding the perfect pair of running tights has ALWAYS eluded me and so I never seem totally comfortable in what I’m wearing. I’d like to try to keep some of my lady-like dignity while running past my neighbors!

Tempie @ The Texas Peach

My worst running outfit would have to be when I used to wear two bras to go running. Fortunately, I found out about Enell sports bras, so I no longer have to run in two bras!

Kimberly Currier

There are almost too many outfits to share. The first thing that pops to my mind is my comment to Andy the other day “I’ve had these running shorts so long (10 + years) they are back in style now (and sure enough they are) but mine are smelly, faded and OLD. I still wear them (what does that say about me) often with a running tech shirt that was once white and is now “kinda white” and smells the minute I start to sweat. The second outfit that comes to mind is the outfit that I wore when I first started running. Remember I am a child of the 80s before you judge. I wore black short tight “running tights” made out of a cheap polyester / lycra combo and a cotton t-shirt that was so large it look like I was running in a cotton tent. To round out that awesome syle I wore tube socks that were pushed / scrunched down – of course. Wowza – I’m just embarrased writing that. Luckily I had the good sense to buy those running short a few months later – you know – the one’s I still wear 10 years later.

Lydzkyd

My worst outfit was this cute running skirt that would not stay on me during my very first race. I was tugging it up every 5 steps hoping my run would not become an x-rated spectacle. Now I check fit before beauty.

Aimee

When I was heavier, I just wore what fit. Cotton tent like t-shirts, cotton track pants. UGH. I’m so thankful to have lost weight and can now wear cuter better designed outfits made for running. I only have two really great outfits my husband got me for mother’s day but would love to have a brand new outfit from Brooks. Thanks for the opportunity.

Cori @ olivetorun

Worst running gear- anything that chafes! I’ve had a lot of experiences with chafing and learning what works and what does NOT!

AK Stout

My worst running outfit would be a racerback tank I tried and the darn thing would not stop rolling up…. I spent more energy fighting to keep it pulled down than I did running. Help!

Amanda

My worst outfit was yesterday when I ran in the dead heat of the day and wore a BLACK SHIRT! I’m only sort of kidding. I would LOVE to win the makeover!

Justine

When I first started running I wore lots of cotton. Horrible looking sweats and sweatshirts. On one run I wore way too many layers and had to take off a layer every half mile so I was running with my arms full of clothes

Emily

Cotton socks, tall ones because it’s cold in Minnesota when you’re running New Years Day; Smelly Bra and Shirt, cecause they’re the warm ones you found so many years ago and can’t find a replacement “just like it,” and some really warm pants you want to live in, resulting in sweatiness from cleaning the house in them…

Lindsay

I bought a pair of shorts based on their color, not how they fit. That was a disaster.

josephine

i wore cotton sweatpants and a t shirt to my first race (a 10k) talk about chafing and horrible sweating … awful just awful… and i want to win Brooks so I can RunHappy!

catie

Way back in high school, I wore cotton EVERYTHING. Sports bras, t-shirts, and those soffee cheerleader shorts. In Kansas, which is HOT and HUMID during the cross country and track seasons. And for some reason it was really cool to wear those tall Nike swoosh socks that came up to your mid-calf with your spikes. Rockin’ tan lines from those, just in time for prom. 🙂

Jennifer

When I first started running, everything was cotton…nothing was moisture-wicking. I didn’t have good, supportive sports bras. I was even running in Nike Shox. I have learned so much since I started running in 2010.

Now I see people at the races that were once like me. I wonder if they are doing it for fun & just don’t know any better (not educated) or if they just really don’t care.

Emily

I wore a COTTON t shirt and COTTON shorts to my first 5K.. big mistake! I didn’t even realize that my running shoes were terrible for my feet! Ugh. How I have learned!

Noelle

Recently I went on a trip and didn’t pack the running clothes I meant to – so I ended up running in an outfit comprised of about 5 different neon colors that did not go so well all together. I looked like a blinding neon rainbow running down the street!

Mary

I think that it is a tie, I have a photo from my childhood of me in red parachute pants with purple and neon green Umbros on OVER the pants. Pair that with a Teal and Forest green t-shirt for some serious style points.

More recently, I lost some weight and decided to run my first 5K in 2 years. On race day, I put on my favorite running skirt, compression socks, and a race shirt. After the first quarter of a mile, I felt a little breeze behind me. Lets just say that people saw more than they were expecting. I had to run the rest of the race with one hand holding my skirt up. As you are getting back into shape, It is always nice for your clothes to be too big. It is infinitely better to find that out before leaving the house in the morning. 🙂

rUnladylike

Mary, I would LOVE for you to share that photo with me if you are willing 🙂 You can post it to Instagram and tag @runladylike, share it on my Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/runladylike or simply email it to me at runladylike@gmail.com. You get more entries by posting it on Facebook and Instagram. Sounds like it would be a great photo to share in the worst running outfit wrap up! 🙂 Congrats on your running journey! Thanks so much for entering, and good luck!

Amanda N

When I first started running I wore a pair of black cotton shorts that said “DANCER” on the butt from my dancing studio days and cotton shirts I acquired from free events in college. Oh add a cotton sports bra and a pair of old store brand sneakers to that. I changed my ways after I ran my first 5K and realized if I’m going to run I should gear up. Went out a bought a pair of running shorts, tech shirt, tech bra, and actual running sneakers. I’ve slowly built up my stash since then but its still very small. I’d love to win the Run Happy makeover as I need some new sneakers and could use more running clothes to make my stash a little bigger (and require less laundry). I also love Brooks! (my Glycerin 10’s on on their way out)

Jamie

My running clothes (all running appropriate), never match. I don’t think it’s a big deal, but my poor husband always comments about my “Skittles” colored outfits when we run together. Right now, I’m wearing an orange shirt and light blue shirts with lime green trim :p

Katie

I wore, and still wear, cotton shirts, socks, etc.! It’s just so expensive to buy new running clothes, so I’m still wearing some of mine from high school 10 years ago! Running shorts losing elastic and holes in them! 🙁

Amy

When I started running it was completely cotton clothing. Including sweatpants and a sweatshirt. Talk about chaffage! It took only 2 runs in those clothes to make the decision to switch to something running friendly!

Mike Dalton

My wife used to run a lot, and shes wanting to get back into it, but doesn’t want to spend any money ( since we’re adopting two kids) so I’d love to be able to surprise her with this 🙂

Ashley

My typical running outfit is my worst running outfit haha. I have two pairs of shorts I like and two pairs that are the ugliest ever and I usually just wear a cotton T but I’ve heard rumors that that’s a terrible idea. I have my first half marathon coming up so I gotta look fly!

Olivia

My first and worst running outfit ever: big cotton t-shirt, sports bra that was too small, and soccer shorts with bike pants underneath. I thought I looked good because I was color coordinated and I rolled and tucked my sleeves into my bra straps. I even went so far as to use ponytail holders to keep my sleeves up. The best (worst) part my thighs ate my shorts as I ran! Yikes!! A running outfit makeover was desperately needed!

Brita

My worst outfit is (unfortunately) what I ran in this morning. Imagine this: waking up early for a run, feeling like you’re going to kick butt. Don your running gear. Start running. Then….. your shorts are riding up to your ribcage, simultaneously pushing your running top up and giving you a massive wedgie. Your running top’s “built in bra” is totally unflattering, but you can’t wear a bra with it because you won’t be able to expand your ribcage (necessary for all the panting you’re doing while running.) Shoes are ok, but since I’m flat-footed and overpronated, they need to be replaced as soon as the soles start to wear down in order to be supportive. Please help me!!

rUnladylike

Brita, you made me laugh out loud. We definitely need to get you suited up in some better gear 🙂 Good luck with the contest and thank you for entering. If you’re an over pronator you probably need a stability shoe. The Brooks Adrenaline, Ravenna or (my favorite) Pure Cadence would probably be best for you.

Brita

Will definitely look into those shoes for my next pair, thanks for the suggestion! Could only be even better to win some 😉

Tina G

A few yrs ago when i was first learning to run, I wore some gym shorts and a cotton race shirt for a 10km run ( the big prep before the race). Oh and some jockey undies. well.I had chafe. underarms, thighs, underboob. it !@#%$%^ sucked. it hurt. That weekend i bought a better fitting bra and some long tight seemless run capris. LESSON LEARNED!!! Currently i stil have bra issues on looong runs. but the steady running results in me losing weight and i dont have a bra that fits RIGHT!

Olivia S

My (first and) worst running outfit: big cotton T-shirt, small sports bra and soccer shorts with bike shorts underneath. I hated the way the sleeves felt on my arms, so I rolled and tucked my sleeves into my sports bra! I even used ponytail holders to keep them in place! I thought I looked good because I was color coordinated. Best part (or worst part) — my shorts would ride up (because my thighs would eat my shorts) as I was running! Yikes!!

I’d love a new running outfit! It’s hot in AZ, so I’m on a quest for lightweight but supportive gear.

Tina G

(i pressed enter too soon!) And …why i need a makeover? Well the last few months i have made major strides in my running ut my personal side needs a oost. THIS really would help. My feet are a mess…the shoes need an overhaul. I think I must be running in too small of shoes. not supportive enough. New outfit really does give MASSIVE lift to spirits!!

Karen Poole

My worst running outfit was cotton shirts that caused chaffing and a worn out sports bra, yuck! So glad they make moisture wicking clothes now! I would love to try Brooks hear because I have heard amazing things!

Tara

I used to run in cotton shirts all the time, just out of habit. I also have a couple sports bras that are starting to discolor in the armpit area, but they get the job done, so I don’t want to throw them out!

Laura

The absolute worst thing that I run in is my favorite shorts. They are black running shorts that I bought in Gainesville 16 years ago. They are 2 sizes too big and have white paint all over them. I have worn them through 2 pregnancies and subsequent weight loss periods. They are so huge and disgusting that I have the role the waistband down to keep them up, despite that I wear them all the time…including in races!
Laura

Amanda @SlowLaneRun

My lack of running fashion started with my first Thanksgiving 5k. I really had no clue what I was getting myself into. It was cold and rainy outside and I was dressed in thick cotton sweats. I was a drenched hot mess by the end!

Ashley Tucker

Probably when I wore a huge cotton shirt and cotton shorts.

Debbie @ Live from La Quinta

My worst running outfit was not planned, but it was the time I ran the LA Marathon in the freezing rain. It was pouring and about 40 degrees, so of course I wore a throwaway sweatshirt over my running clothes and topped it off with a trash bag to keep me relatively dry before the race started. The only problem was that it kept raining so hard and it was so cold that I (and the friend I was running with) didn’t want to take off our trash bags. We kept them on for the whole race (I have a finisher’s photo to prove it), which meant that I kept my throwaway sweatshirt on too. By the time the race was over, that shirt must have weighed 5 pounds and I was getting little spasms running down my arms as I walked back to our hotel (I presumed I was hypothermic..it all went away after a much deserved hot shower).

Lisa @ RunWiki

My worst outfit is a running skirt and sports bra so worn out that the elastic on the under shorts of the running skirt rides up my legs and the sports bra that was once white is now a strange shade of beige. gah

Raina

My worst running outfit had to be the time I was wearing a short sleeve top and shorts for an 18 mile run and the rain never let up. Usually it does! But when you get wet and have no way to change clothes and don’t wear a good rain shell, it can get dangerous. By the time I got done with my run, every part of me was wet and I had lost most of the sensation in my skin. I was pretty close to hypothermia. I’ve never been so glad to get inside and have a warm shower.
Thanks for the chance to win a Brooks outfit!!

Lindsey @ Run Freckles Run

Oh boy! I remember the days of wearing cotton myself. I used to wear a black Aeropostale cami and a pair of gray lounge sweats to run in. I don’t know how I managed. Don’t even get me into wearing every day cotton underwear. I was a changed woman when I was introduced to mesh undies to run in. I’ll NEVER go back.

Heather @fitncookies

Ha. I was just thinking of this the other day. I had on a gross purple t shirt, and gross because it still stinks from running and sweat even though it is stain free. I have these obnoxious shorts with designs on them, that i decided to pair with that gross shirt. no worries- neither matched. add in my coral color running shoes. ha hot mess! This would be recent.. I don’t even want to talk about what I used to run in when I first started! There was no dri-tech shirts or shorts and everthing was cotton!

i would love to win this so I could look fashionable while running! 🙂

Katie

My worst running outfit would definitely be my old cotton t shirts and soffee shorts I used to run in, along with my awful nike running shoes. I love my Brooks running shoes and shorts and I would love to add more to my running wardrobe! Working for a non profit means I don’t make a lot of money winning this would definitely help me out!!

meredith

worst was my private highschools gym outfit – awful uniform was made out of icky shiny material that stuck to your skin when you sweat and i looked really bad in it!

runlikeagrrl

Hmm, my worst outfit was probably what I wore to my first ever running event, the Ntelos Richmond 8k back in 2002. Don’t bother looking for me in the results, you won’t find me as I wore the timing chip on the drawstring of my polyester purple track pants..rather than the sketchers sneakers I bought at Macy’s (you know, your one-stop running shop). Oh, and my top was the cotton event shirt. Hawt, no?

rUnladylike

Oh this made me laugh! Love it!!! I hope you can dig up a picture to share of this!

Michelle

My worst running outfit was when I first started running/exercising again. I had nothing to wear except a cotton ugly ass t-shirt, way too big pregnancy gym short and some lame mow-the-lawn-with sneakers. I looked like I just walked out of the thrift shop. Worse, actually.

Rebecca H

My worst was some clunky clearance “running shoes” from kohls, some cotton stretch shorts with a nice high rise granny waist and a ratty old cotton tee.

ashley

My worst running out fits are prob all of them! I just started so I can’t bring myself to buy anything nice until I’m sure I’m committed. The other day I would I plan tee and black cotton capris. Sorry if this is TMI but by the end of the run my butt and legs were itching like crazy!

Amy L

I am not sure it is the ugliest, but back in the old days I used to painfully pull on 2-3 sports bras to go for a run – and many a bra rubbed me quite wrong (ouch). So glad that the tech to support the girls has improved over the years. Today, a good a great new running outfit from Brooks that wasn’t so stinky my kids won’t hug me (before my run) would be welcome blessing to our entire household :)!

Shelly Warner

My worst running outfit is what I have to wear now because I’ve regained the weight I lost when I STOPPED running. Now that im restarting…Even my shoes are tight! The worst part? I can’t fit into my “I run for my best friend” shirt…she died 2 years ago and was one of my biggest fans!

Teresa M.

My worst running outfit is a pair of greenish spandex shorts I got a a garage sale. They don’t even have a brand tag, but they fit perfect and don’t ride up so I wear them with any color running tank, no matter it it matches or not.

Teresa M.

Forgot to add why I want a new outfit, because I really don’t have that many running clothes, and mostly everything I have is old so I’d like a cute new running outfit.

Kathy S

This is embarrassing, but I used to work out in an old pair of maternity pants. They were comfy.

Bryanna

When I first started running in grade school it was all in cotton shorts and t-shirts, not the best in wicking sweat. I didn’t start to get real running clothes until college. I wore horrible running gear. My worst running gear as of today, is my running tights I wore in junior high. I don’t know how they still fit me and they are completely outdated and so 80s, but I still have them for cold weather running!! I love brooks and it would be awesome to have a new brooks running outfit.

Tmac57

I would love a new running outfit from brooks
love all the new techie clothes and my closet is becoming more and more running gear
so fun
love to run

Kati

I think that’d the the terrible synthetic bee costume our group decided to wear for a women’s run. Too much sticky fabric for a really hot day – but hilarious pictures 😀

Lori B

I just started running, so my worst outfit is probably what I am wearing to run in now. I run in either yoga pants or capris (the extra material on the pants is sooo annoying to run in) and whatever old tshirt that I don’t care if it gets sweaty. I really could use new gear to make me feel like I really am a runner 🙂

Lyndsey G.

Uggh my worst running outfit was a COTTON t-shirt that I wrote things on in permanent marker. Well, it rained like woah & the marker bleed everywhere! All over my shirt, thru to my sports bra. What a mess! To top it all off I was wearing bike shorts & forgot my body glide so my legs chaffed. Rough day. I would love some new gear for my two upcoming races–a 10 miler & a half marathon.

Lindsay

There have been a number of poor outfit choices in my running history. The most painful ones have always seemed to involve a bad sports bra choice, resulting in lots of painful chafe. Ouch! I’m definitely in need of a running outfit upgrade!

Lisa

Probably one of my worst running outfits involved a really old (10 years?) pair of black spandex capris – they kept sliding down as I ran! So I was pulling them up every minute or so, and it was really uncomfortable. I don’t know if it’s just because they’re too big or because of how old they are, but either way I could use some new running clothes!

Laura

I don’t have a specific outfit in mind but I have gotten some pretty terrible chafing from having to double or triple up on sports bras! Owww! I would love to win a new outfit since I am always excited to run in new clothes! And shoes!

Tanya N

Reading over these comments, my current running outfits include lots of these, oh the shame, so I definitely need some new running clothes. My dad’s assigned US Navy sweatpants, Soffe shorts, those plastic-like swishy track pants, tearaway pants with the snaps on the side.

beka

Before I really understood working out and running, I would go to the gym/run in a push up bra- because that was all I had. I didn’t see a “need” for sports bras….. oh I’m so much wiser. And cotton – cotton is the devil. Especially cotton cheerleading/soffee shorts- I owned and wore the absolute crap out of a pair of XL’s that a friend left at my house. I wore a size S… why I never spent $4 to buy my own I will never know… *secret* I still have these shorts at my moms house in the closet.

Elena Vo

That would have to be my freshman year in college…when I decided to get back in shape and put on my bike shorts and a long-sleeve cotton t-shirt, thinking that 70 degrees outside was kind of cold….little did I know that I’d get VERY hot just 20 minutes later. When I got home, I had really bad chafing and I was overheating. Not a good run!

Megan

Although I have halfway decent shorts from Walmart (and by that I mean 2 sizes too big due to weight loss), I don’t have a sports bra that fits exactly, so I have to wear more than one… I can’t see spending over $60 for a sports bra! I run with multiple bras and multiple tanktops, and shorts that are 2 sizes too big! My sneakers are also hand-me-downs from a co-worker

Blair

I used to run in cotton t shirts…talk about sweat and armpit chafing!

Sarah @RunFarGirl

I have several. I have a pair of gray Nike running shorts that were my first running clothing purchase ten years ago when I first started running. I still have them! The elastic on the waste is shot and the drawstring is long gone (the washing machine ate it?). I also have a bra from walmart that used to be white and is now gray/blue. I should throw it away. I don’t think I’d miss it. haha.

Ramona S

One of my worst outfits was a cotton shirt and non-running shorts for a 10K. It was awful. So glad I learned about tech gear outfits.

Now if I can just fix the sports bra that still manages to chafe me under the arm even when I put the anti-chafe on. 🙁

Pam

My worst running outfit is an ugly orange top and gray pants with orange trim. My eyes must have been shut when I made that purchase. I would love a new outfit so I could donate this one to the circular file!

Allie

High school sports bra with holes, old Hanes t shirt with yellow-stained underarms, shorts that were stretched out from pregnancy. Worn in desperation, worn nonetheless.

JILL @MRScrashmattb

My worst has to be two crew neck tech shirts I bought on sale, and now hate all the pictures from those race mornings because they are NOT flattering on me AT ALL.

DisneyBride

Worst outfit was for my first half marathon. Why did I think it would be a good idea to wear a WHITE tech shirt? It was so hot, I kept having to pour water on my head. You can imagine the results.

rachel

I wore WAY too much–like sweatshirt, shirt, warm pants–to run a race. It got way too hot and I was miserable. Not putting on anti-chafing gel is ALWAYS a bad idea for me, too!

Jen

I definitely didn’t know how to dress when I started running. I was 12 in track for school and I’d wear men’s boxer shorts for training with giant tshirts knotted on the side. How did I ever think that was cute? Or functional? Ew I’m embarrassed just thinking about it.

Tanya

I wore these really cute capri lightweight sweatpants for a 5k. Couldn’t keep them up no matter how tight I tried to tie them. AND…they were SO HOT. It was awful. Never again! I’m a single mom of five and my budget for running clothes is pretty much nonexistent. So I would LOVE to win this makeover! 🙂

Katie

What a great giveaway! I spend a lot of time running and working out so I put a lot of resources – time and money! – against making sure my gear is high-performance and comfortable! Otherwise, it’s definitely working against you 🙂 I’ve come along way from my worst outfit – a sports bra that provided no support, a cotton t-shirt that didn’t breathe and I was always pulling down, checkered blue and yellow running shorts – ah, I did love those though! – socks that slipped and gave me blisters, and shoes that weren’t right for my foot and stride and that I’d logged way too many miles in! I love my new Brooks running shoes and I’d love to see what other gear it has to offer! Thanks!

Michelle @The Running Jewess

There is nothing like the time I decided to go out on a limb and wear running shorts. I’m a tights girl, but I thought I’d give it a shot. So there I am, on a hot and humid day, running around in these short-shorts. Well, of course I forgot my body glide. Let’s just say that there was chaffage that I would wish on no one…

Alexis {Diva on a Diet}

I feel like I am improving in my running attire, but at the beginning it was anything loose because I was bigger! Now, I feel like i have some cuter things, but not the greatest, and half the time I’m not even matching! I could definitely use some help in this area!

Kelsey M.

My sports bras are DISGUSTING!! I need a new one, for sure! I’m bigger chested so shopping for a bra is a nightmare. And apparently my new shorts are too short because I chaff so badly I can’t wear them while running. And a matching outfit? How cool would that be!

Kristen Bobbitt

My worst running clothes are ones I wear regularly. I have a sports bra and exercise shirt that I bought 9 years ago. My sneakers are crappy Walmart brand. I have been running 4 days a week in those junkers. I would LOVE some new running shoes!

Mary Ann

A cotton tshirt, and cotton capris – in a MUD RUN! Huge mistake. lol

Teisha c

My worst running outfit was a Cotton tshirt and cotton black pants that faded to gray but also shrunk so that they come up 3 or so inches from my ankles.Pretty hot I know.

Deanna P

What was supposed to be a walk escaping from a long day of being a “Mom” ended up being my first run. I was wearing a 6 year old yoga bra, a stretched out and stained cotton t-shirt, oversize yoga pants and Chuck T Converse sneakers. The girls bounced like they were on a trampoline, my feet were killing me but it was the best thing I ever did! On the outside I looked like a hot mess but inside I was happy!

Deanna P

Oops-hit the wrong button before finishing. I would love a new running outfit to show how far I’ve come in 3 short years. I feel awesome on the inside and want that to be reflected on the outside when I run. I may not be the fastest runner but I would love to be the most fashionable one!

Anne

My WORST outfit(s) was when I was training for my first marathon — ran a 10K at Malibu in big baggy sweatpants and a long sleeved cotton t-shirt.
Lesson NOT learned I wore a long sleeve cotton t-shirt AND a sweatshirt when I ran that first marathon. In the Pouring Rain!
I had chafing under my arms like you would NOT believe!!!

Leigh

My worst running outfit had to be one from one of my first runs after having Graham. I was excited just to get out of the house and back to running and about halfway through I realized I had my shorts on inside out. A few minutes later I realized I had my shirt on inside out too. Apparently l was so anxious to get out the door that I dressed myself a little too quickly. 🙂

Jamie

I had a thin pair of shorts that I loved to run with and it snagged on a branch and then kaboom, no shorts on my bottom. Super embarrassing. I totally would love a new outfit that won’t break down on me.

Melissa@mypeachlife

My dad loves to give me a new running outfit for Christmas every year. The only problem is he picks out the ugliest ones he can find. This year a got a pink with black “swirls” half zip shirt with matching running tights! Oh yeah I am sending you this picture but I will not put it on FB for all my friends to see! Feel free to post on here if you want.

Marie

I recently got back into running and wanted to prove to myself that I could stick to a regular routine before I invested in new running gear, So I’ve spent the past few months relying on the same sad, pink sports bra and cotton Ts to get me through all of my runs. It’s not pretty AT ALL.

Zaneta

Yikes… my worst running outfit was when I first started running… a cotton t-shirt, cotton shorts, and tennis shoes with no support or traction anymore!! Wowsa! Let’s just say I learned my lesson pretty quickly… 😉

Mark V

Worst running clothes happened during the grade school track meets. Cotton t-shirts, shorts, & long cotton tube socks along with cheap shoes. Especially true one year where there was a brief rain storm. Looking back I kinda wished I would’ve continued running (I started about three years ago) but better late than never.

Jovan B.

Running clothes always seem to fit me wrong. The tops, no matter how loose, always show my belly and the shorts are always showing my butt cheeks! Would love to look like I have no body issues for once lol

Mae G

I was so embarrassed of my bum that I would always tie a hoodie around my waist to hide and attempt to camouflage my “bouncy” tush when I ran up hills in loose stretchy pants.

Anne

My worst running outfit would be for most of my runs! I almost never match, as I go for comfort, non-chafing and of course, price. It’s a miracle that I’ve managed to match for a few races. Luckily, most of my shorts/skorts are black, so I coordinate more in the warm weather than the cooler temps. There are a lot of red/pink/green/blue that I wear together. I like to think that I’m starting a trend of new colors? Lol

Tori

My worst running outfit is the ones I have to wear because they were cheap and they are extremely unflattering and in race photos they look like I weigh a ton 🙁

Prasert

All of my running outfits have major snags and string hanging off of the sides and look like they are on the verge of breaking apart.

Julie

My worst running outfit is a tank top with thin straps that I’ve continually had to sew back together. I started using safety pins but now the rest of it is all stretched out funny.

Jessica K.

I want to win a running make over because ALL of my running outfits are from the thrift store. It would be nice to have something that has only ever been mine!!

Pat

We had a fun run and my team decided to run in halloween costumes of cop outfits

MG

I had a pair of Nike shorts that were a paisley print. They were so fugly, and I hate socks that matched and a singlet with the paisley print on the back.

Kellie Rose Wilson

Shorts that were too small and rode up when I ran, a sports bra that did not support and knee high rainbow stripe socks!

Donna

My outfits are so worn through and raggedy. I totally need a new one.

Meghan

My worst running outfit? I STILL have sports bras from high school…and I am 33. 🙁

Colleen @ Live Free And Run

I would love to win! Let’s see…worst running outfit….not sure. But I have lost a lot of weight since picking up running after having my daughter and new clothes are always helpful. Plus, I just got into brooks…just bought my first pair of brooks pure connect and can’t wait to try them out once I recover from injury….working on recovering and hitting the physical therapy hard for the past 4 weeks and no training runs for the past 12 weeks. Would love to win the prize pack for my triumphant return to the world of running!

Indigo

It was my 2nd 5k ever and I wore a winter scarf in march. My husband told me I wouldn’t need it, but I insisted. By mile 1 that thing was tied around my waist. 🙂

Allie

Oh man, I loved reading through these comments! My worst was when I first started running. I wore a cotton shirt with soccer type shorts. And I admit, I am wearing the same sports bras from high school which makes them 10+ years old! ah!

Kelsey

My worst running outfit would have been when I ran my first Half marathon. My shorts were too short and tight and I had never even heard of spandex. I ran in a regular bra and a cotton shirt that I found on sale at expo. Let me just say that chub rub turned into complete bleedin down my leg (looked like I had a period coming out of me) and I ran in bad shoes and ended up with a stress fracture. Horrible.

I would love a new running outfit because I recently made the switch to brooks shoes and am IN LOVE plus I have no workout clothes that fit me anymore. I’m a total outfit repeater both in the gym and on the road. I usually stick to compression shorts with whatever shorts fit on them and some sort of tank top.

I lost a lot of weight last year but gained it back and am trying so hard to lose it again through running and my progress is definitely showing. I would absolutely love and be so thankful for a makeover to boost my confidence and have new clothes for a new body 🙂

rUnladylike

Oh Kelsey, your first half marathon outfit might take the cake. What an awful experience!!! Good luck with the contest. I hope we can get all of you outfitted in some great gear 🙂

Debbie @ Healthy Running Mom

Ok, here we go…..
I have a favorite sport bra that I love the most. I know you’re supposed to swap out & buy new each year, but I love mine even though 2x while running one of the straps un-hooked. Oops, epic issue there , as I wasn’t near a bathroom & had to adjust in the middle of my run hoping that I was as discreet as possible.
Oy, such a mess!
As for my running shorts. I love my OLD Champion running shorts with the elastic all stretched out! I love them the most because they’re not so shorty short, as most running shorts are now, but I can’t find any longish ones, so I’ll wear them until the elastic won’t work at all!
Would LOVE to have a super cute new outit to run. I”m averaging about 30 miles / week now & will increase soon as I begin to train for the BOA Marathon. I’d be pretty cool sporting new duds from Brooks!!!!!!!!

Debbie @ Healthy Running Mom

I’d love to try te PR mesh skort II
infinity bra
versatile EZ racerback.
I’d really be stylin & running then.

Rachelle

The worst running outfit I have ever had was on a long run with a shirt that was too small..let’s just say the stomach was not perfect and it made quite a sight.

Heather

My worst running outfit was this mess I wore in college… Kelly green cotton shorts I bought on sale at a sporting store with a ratty lax t shirt I stole from my little brother. Saddest part is nearly 15 years later (ahem) I still sleep in the t shirt. Ugh.

Malinda from @TwinsRun

My worst outfit was XL sweatshirt & pants! I’d love to runHappy in a new Brooks outfit as I train for the elusive BQ!

Laurel C

One time I wore all pink for a race (complete with pink tutu) and looking back it was an awful idea!! I’d love some snazzy new attire 🙂

Linda

A loose top and shorts.

M. Love

Is it bad if I say all my running clothes are awful!?? When I first started my running journey, I was about 70# heavier and 2-3 sizes bigger. I struggle with Sports bras that fit and work for me, plus shorts for my legs are hard. I love some snazzy new gear to start training again – 8 weeks since I broke my ankle and cleared to start back 🙂

Ali

My worst running outfit choice was wearing a pair of black running pants that had gotten to big during a half marathon. By mile 8ish, not only was I chafing due to the inseam, but my who-ha was starting rub against the inseam and by mile 13 I was waddling. I would love some gear that fit perfectly for my new size!

Kim W

Worst running outfit…def the Nike capris I was wearing when training for my first marathon…..they are ripped from a fall I took on an uneven sidewalk but I can’t seem to part with them ’cause they make me feel like a warrior princess!

Lisa

I cringe when I look at my running photos from high school. Talk about lots of cotton and baggy, baggy awesomeness. Anyway, I would love some new workout gear. I find that I am changing sizes a bit since having my daughter and could use an athletic wardrobe update! Plus, I heart BROOKS!

Penny

My worst running outfit would have to be my favorite one too – I have the first shorts I bought when I started running in 2009 and they are the most comfortable pair, but boy oh boy, do they stink!!! I wash them after every wear and no amount of detergent helps – they are fine for the first mile, but as soon as a touch of sweat gets on them, the stink is right back!!

Cyanne

When I first got into running, I wore old basketball shorts that hung nearly to my knees and may have even actually been men’s. I wore heavy stability New Balances that I got on sale at the New Balance factory outlet, and sometimes even wore normal sunglasses. I shudder to think about it.

alisha batac

Omg !!! I love reading these stories. You know I have recently in the past year gotten into running a lot due to a friend inspiring me. Up until now I really didnt pay much attention to my running attire. Well before now I had this aweful pair of shorts. The best way to describe them is to call them trash bags shorts. When I run with them the stick and are super uncomfortable.

Emma @ a mom runs this town

My worst outfit ever… neon pink yellow and blue shorts, cotton (ripped) blue green and white shirt and watermelon colored shoes. Rainbow bright? I need some non-holey clothes!

Cecil @ Dreadmill Drummer

I have a bunch of old t-shirts that I usually run in. They don’t look the best and they are stained pretty bad. They soak up the sweat, but since they are simply cotton t-shirts they don’t have any wicking qualities whatsoever. My short selection is limited. And the 1st shoes I ran in were a simple athletic shoe that I was wearing for everyday use.

Jennifer

Like everyone else – my worst outfit starts with cotton. Large oversized cotton tshirts – like Mens XL on my women’s M frame. Then I paired them with plaid boxer shorts. Mens Boxers!!! That I made small enough by safety pinning the waist. Seriously – WHAT WAS I THINKING!!!! I have graduated to proper running gear now but some of that needs to go since I have lost alost 30lbs this year 🙂

Cori @ Read.Write.Run.Mom.

It was my frist day of training for my first half marathon with Team in training. I had never run with other people and didn’t know what they wore (aside from tech stuff). It was a bit cool out so I put on a longsleeve shirt under my TNT training shirt and pulled on these yoga pants that I had worn when I was pregnant…and I had lost about 30lbs since then. Oh – and the most awkward handheld bottle known to man because I didn’t know fuel belts existed. I spent the entire run overheating and pulling up the pants over and over again. The bottle very nearly got thrown into the river. Needless to say – I went shopping immediately after the run…

Cori @ Read.Write.Run.Mom.

(and I would love a new outfit because I have just started trail running and am back in that spot of not knowing what the heck real trail runners wear lol)

Joanna

My worst running outfit was when I’d go out in a cotton T-shirt and basketball shorts with a pair of New Balance casual shoes (definitely not meant for running) that I’d already used for all 4 years of high school phys ed.
I’d like a new running outfit because I’m headed to Colorado for my first half marathon (and first race out-of-state) and with all the money I’m saving for the plane ticket, it’d be nice to catch a break on a new outfit for the race 🙂

Audrey

def a connton tshirt…by the time I was done it weighed more than me:)

Audrey

def a cotton tshirt…by the time I was done it weighed more than me:) iw ould love to rock a new running outfit for a half I have coming up

desi

my worst running outfits is one i’m still running in – the pants i wore in the Flying Pig this year would not. stop. falling down – in my finish line picture, i’m holding them up!

I Kraus

Worst running outfit was poo brown sweats and a gray cotton t-shirt. Not cute at all, and I think my shoes were a bright blue and neon green. You get the picture, bad, bad, bad. I think good running gear and clothes help you “feel” the part to better tackle that run. Woohoo!

Leslie @ Triathlete Treats

My worst running outfit was Nike baggie pants. I think about about how I used to wear those in the rain. They would drag on the ground! So ridiculous. Luckily enough I got some new tight capris that were game changers!
I need a make over because I still have pants and shirts I have been wearing for years. I hate shopping!!

Dacia

My worst running outfit was a cotton tshirt and way too big for me cotton pants the first time I ever attempted to run on a treadmill. Super uncomfortable, especially since I had to hold my pants up the entire time.

Cotton is rotten!

Ericka

I have two wonderful, super light, wool running tops – they are discolored, stained and full of little holes, but they are soooo wonderful to run in! I only wear them when I’m running by myself because of how worn they are! I’m sure I could find a new running top love with the Brooks makeover!

Liz

My worst running outfit was last October for a Halloween half marathon. I had a costume made, but it was pouring down rain that day, and cold, so I dug around my closet and came up with a long sleeve tie-dye bamboo shirt and bell bottom yoga pants. I had a string of beads and a straight hair blond wig, added a headband, and voila! hippie! Well, I took off the wig before the race, eventually took off the string of beads that kept hitting me in the face, and by the time the half marathon was over, the bamboo shirt weighed about 50 pounds from the rain. Oh, and it stained my skin purple. Brother.

Jenelle

I was JUST thinking today about an outfit I wore for my first half marathon. I don’t even want to wear the pants I wore then around the house-let alone try and run in them-yuck! They are longer, baggy on me, and definitely not made for running longer distances. I also wore a baseball hat that wasn’t made of any special moisture wicking material. It stained with sweat, seriously gross, right? A Brooks running outfit would be a wonderful way to change up my running apparel and keep me running happy!

Kate

My _worst_ running outfit? I don’t even have one! My daughter has gotten me started in training for a run, and I have been doing interval training in whatever I happen to have on…or on the treadmill in my underwear. I’m just learning that there are special clothes that really do make a difference in this. I would love to have “real” running clothes to keep me in training without embarrassing my daughter!

Sam Tone

I always used to only wear cutoffs and Soffie shorts. Now, I’m a total spandex fan. I NEVER workout without spandex shorts, capris, or leggings on. Most of the time I just wear old tshirts, but I refuse to cut the sleeves off like I used to. WHAT WAS I THINKING? Haha.

Andrea

when I first started running, I didn’t know any better. I ran in either old cheerleading cotton shirts or ribbed tanks, and cheerleading shorts (soffee) with my regular tennis shoes! After really bad shin splints, I quickly fixed that and got appropriate running attire!

(Side note: I liked your facebook page from my running page, Once Upon a Run, not from my personal page which you have to use to log into rafflecopter)

Marie

I only have cotton everything and it’s so worn through.

Liz Coz

Reading some of these, I don’t think I have that horrible of an outfit. But being conservative with $$$ I always shop the sales rack while drooling over the cute stuff in the rest of the store. Just can’t afford it. So to be able to pick out an outfit and it not be out if the sales rack would be lovely.
