Love the “Run” You’re With {Endorphin Warrior Giveaway}
People often ask me why I love running. It isn’t a simple answer. There’s the sense of empowerment it brings – the way I feel after accomplishing something I once thought was impossible. There’s the personal strength I gain from overcoming adversity and being stronger than my desire to stop or quit. There’s the feeling of being so alive running in beautiful places that makes me feel part of something so much bigger than myself.
But if I had to narrow the joy of running to only one thing, it would be the people that running has brought into my life – the community, the bonds, the relationships. My best running friends.
As we get ready to celebrate Valentine’s Day this week, I wanted to honor the runners we love and give you a chance to win one of my favorite running bracelets for both you and your best running friend.
Best running friends aren’t just any friends.
They get up as early as 4 a.m. to hang out with us.
They love us when we’re looking our worst without makeup, covered in sweat and stinking up the room.
They adore getting to know us … like really getting to know us. As in understanding when we poop, how often we poop, the consistency of our poop and the color of our urine.
They don’t believe anything is off limits when it comes to talking and being a confidant.
They believe in us even when we aren’t sure if we believe in ourselves.
They help us find strength, courage, perseverance and focus.
They help us defy limits.
Last weekend, I went on a special racecation with one of my best running friends Elizabeth.
When we both lived in Atlanta, we ran together at least twice a week. We trained together when we both qualified for the Boston Marathon for the first time. We pushed each other. We were there for each other in those dark moments where one of us was questioning ourselves and our abilities. We laughed, we cried, we shared stories about life. We waited for each other when someone needed to stop for a major bathroom blowout. We encouraged each other. Most importantly, we reminded each other that together our running is limitless.
As we reunited in Sedona to run the Sedona Half Marathon, I gave my friend an Endorphin Warrior training bracelet with the word LIMITLESS on it that matched one for myself. I told her I always wanted her to remember that we’ve defied personal running limits we once were unsure we could accomplish. We wore our matching Endorphin Warrior LIMITLESS bracelets during the race, and I haven’t taken mine off since.
This is the third Endorphin Warrior training bracelet I have, and maybe the one with the most meaning. Endorphin Warrior is such a special company. Their bracelets resonate with me so much because they use the power of one word to remind us and inspire us to reach for our greatest potential. Endorphin Warrior believes in celebrating the joy of human movement through running. I can look at my wrist and remember that I’m strong or that I believe in myself or that I can be limitless, even when it is easy to doubt that.
In honor of Valentine’s Day and the runners we love, I want to share my favorite Endorphin Warrior training bracelets with you and your best running friend. You can win the bracelet of your choice for you and the person you love to run with the most.

This is such a great idea that I have already done it 🙂 I gave one of my besties a bracelet that said “BELIEVE” when I was training for Worlds and she for the Boston Marathon. It was amazing how helpful it was when we were not even training together. Great idea Jes! xoxo
I would totally get the 70.3 bracelet for my friend and I who trained for our first half ironman together!
I’ve known my running friend since we took a training program together, and I’ve watched us both grow and improve since then. She helps me get out in the cold (and the mud) and when we are talking about everything under the sun, the miles fly by. I would choose for us Focus and Believe!
My best friend and I train together fairly often. Even though we run at different paces, it’s great to have someone to get you out the door on *those* days. I’d get her the “breathe” and I’d want the “limitless”.
My best running friend and I meet up every Friday morning to get our longer run in for the week and catch up on life. We started running together about 7 years when we each decided to conquer the marathon distance. I’m so happy to have her in my life! It’s a hard choice, but I would choose ‘believe’ for her and ‘fearless’ for me. Lot’s of great bracelet statements!
My best running friends are actually my brothers. Running is the one thing that has consistently brought us together. It’s given us a chance to reconnect as adults, without the interruptions of children and spouses, and pursue different goals together. All those bracelets are amazing, but I would choose “persevere” reflects our ability to stick with it, even when the sticky situations in life slow us down.
My best running friend affectionately calls me “Coach” as I have encouraged her to start racing after she became a casual runner (and has now completed 2 marathons) and have helped her push past her racing fears to achieve PR’s that she didn’t think were possible for herself. Despite my positivity as “Coach”, when it comes to my own racing sometimes I can’t let go of the self-doubt and tend to over-analyze and conservatively pace my own races. For this reason, I would choose “Fearless” for both of us, to remind me to let go of the self-doubt and run without fear, and to encourage my BRF to keep chasing those PR’s, because she is more then capable!
My best running friend is my daughter. We got into running together but I never would have dreamed of actually entering a race if she hadn’t encouraged me to! We ran a 5k together, then a 10k…this spring I’ll be doing my first half marathon and it’s so fun to be running together. She’s my inspiration. We’ve both had our share of setbacks, injuries, etc. but we always encourage each other & come back stronger than ever. I’d choose “Courage” for her, and “Believe” for me. Love her!!
My best running friend is my cousin, Riana, who lives in Namibia. We don’t see each other often, but are each other’s biggest cheerleaders, sharing and understanding all the highs and lows. Winning and wearing matching brown “Fearless” bracelets will almost feel like we’re training together – fingers crossed!
I love Endorphin Warrior! My best running friend is my son…he has been running with me for the last 3 years and kicks my butt all the time. He makes me work harder and helps me remember why I love running so much in the first place.
I have an endorphin warrior ring that I have worn every day for a few years now, that says unbreakable. I love it and it’s a constant reminder for me to get through things. I have a lot of running friends but one that lately I have been spending more time with and training with occasionally. She’s been through a lot lately and has been struggling. We talk about the future on our runs and what we want to see happen, goals dreams, whatever. So many times I feel like she limits herself because she is afraid. I’d love to see her believe that she is unbreakable…or limitless (torn!) because she inspires me, and pushes me to be a better runner and person.
I met my best running friend 16 years ago – we went out for our first run together and from there on formed an “unbreakable”. bond. We’ve shared so many running memories together, the highs of racing Boston and the lows of being injured which prevented one of us from running. She helped me become the strong runner I am today.
My best running friend is one of my work colleagues who indulges my crazy plans for 5 & 10Ks all over our area! We’ve done 3 so far, and we’re heading away for a Disney Race soon! I’d love to get the Relentless bracelets– such a great, powerful word to sum up how I feel about my running journey!
My brf is injured right now, but she always encourages me as an athlete and trainer to work within my potential. We have been friends for 12 years. Limitless is a wonderful motto because we all have more power to do things than we can ever imagine.
The black Transcend bracelet size 7.5 running bracelet would fit my best running buddy Camilla and me. She runs faster than I do but we are a team, co captains for our running group. She encourages me when I worry about being to slow. I love her like a sister. Running has been an amazing journey of 13.1s with her! Next up Disney Princess Half!
*too
My dog is my running companion! Also my brother 😀
My best running friend is my boyfriend. I had a rough last training cycle and He’s really helped motivate me to push the paces lately! I’d choose unbreakable.
I like running with my mother in law, both of us enjoy it every other day
We haven’t lived in the same town for YEARS, but my best friend and I are constantly encouraging and supporting each other in fitness and in life. I’d want us to wear “Unstoppable ” bracelets – thanks for the opportunity!
