In the Bedroom: Marathon or Sprint?
Happy Valentine’s Day runners! If your’re looking for more than a paper construction heart to spice up your day, you’re going to love these unladylike survey results from the recent Brooks Running Run Happy Nation report. After talking to runners around the world, we are still mixed on our bedroom preferences. But one thing remains the same: running can give us a boost.
Is sex a marathon or a sprint? Runners remain mixed.
34% of runners prefer a marathon-style of intimacy: slow, steady and in it for the long haul.
37% of runners prefer it interval-style: periods of high energy with breaks in between.
The final verdict from the Brooks research team? As long as you cross the finish line, you’ve already won.
Running can give you a bedroom boost.
Whether you prefer a marathon or sprint-style approach, Brooks’ recent survey showed that running may give you a great pre-bedroom boost.
54% of respondents said the energy following a heart pumping run is their biggest turn on.
41% of Americans reveal they feel “frisky” after hitting the pavement.
76% of all runners believe that people look sexy when they’re running.
51% of runners have used running as their pick-up line.
Be sure to check out these 14 pick-up lines for runners if you’re in need of a good one (or a laugh).
Whether you’re a marathoner, sprinter or single runner on the search, I’m wishing you all a fun and festive Valentine’s Day. Happy heart day!
Did you run or race on Valentine’s Day? Do you have any Valentine’s Day running traditions?

Today I had the greatest gifts: I ran a HM in beautiful Verona, ate delicious italian food and spent a romantic weekend with my husband.
