I’ve been running in Brooks Running shoes for as long as I can remember. I had an “aha!” shoe moment in January 2012 when Brooks came out with a lightweight line called the Pure Project. One of the people who worked at my local running store at the time asked me if I’d be willing to try on something different. And the rest is history. The Brooks PureCadence have been my go-to shoes ever since (they are lightweight stability shoes). When you take the quick online questionnaire, you’ll be asked a few questions about the direction your toes go when you walk, how it feels when you stand on one foot and what your knees do when you squat, along with several personal questions about your running preferences and training. Then, you get your result. It’s that easy.
